RITE CARE OF KENT COUNTY

RiteCare Kent is a supportive, outcomes-focused program for court-involved youth in Kent County, designed to help young people build healthier decision-making skills, strengthen relationships, and stay meaningfully engaged in school and community life. Instead of a traditional Evening Learning Center model, Kent County offers Juvenile Success Centers that provide structured, encouraging environments where youth can practice new skills, receive coaching, and experience consistent expectations.
RiteCare Kent operates through a strategic partnership with Kent County Family Court, where court-based Juvenile Success Coordinators play an integral role in daily operations and programming. Working within the court system, they help align program activities with court expectations, support youth through each stage of their involvement, and ensure that communication between families, court, and program remains clear and coordinated. The program offers two Juvenile Success Centers—one located in central Grand Rapids and another in the southern part of the county—so youth and families can access services in locations that are more convenient and connected to their daily lives. This close collaboration and dual-site model supports accountability while expanding opportunities for youth to succeed and move toward long-term stability.
